1. Klashka is Nami’s best frenemy. A brilliant composer and instrumentalist with the debilitating student loan debt to stress anyone out to be a ruthless betch. Klasha seeks artistic freedom of a non-commercial, which can only be achieved after one’s fortune is made and dues are paid. So until she and Tse make a name for themselves, Klashka will remain miserable as a session artist.

Underneath the hard candy exterior is a a chewy cherry center of a teacher and band leader./ Basically, Klashka wants the power with the politics, for if anyone crossed her, the offender would up walking away with a limp and deaf in one ear!  Klashka and Sakura are very much alike in the way they are impulsive and prone to violence to solve simple problems. Luckily, Nami has shock collars for both of them!

Art is therapy for practitioners. Music soothers Klashka’s beast. Playing music, whatever the genre. is better than being a hair band video it-girl. Conformity is difficult for all artists; that’s why art performed for a patron is indeed WORK, hard work. The art that an artist performs for herself, on her free time is HERS. There is not audience to consider in the creative process of personal work. She is composing, drawings, dancing, writing what SHE finds interesting. Not ma and pa in the Midwest (American entertainment’s largest target market). Only after an artist has made a considerable contribution to the commercial realm, does the general public’s hive-mind expands wide enough to find the personal work that reflects her psyche valuable. Therein lies the artists true immortality. There has to be a Please Me, Please, before a Rubber Soul.

The dichotomy of Big “A “small “c” vs. small “a” Big “C”  ( commercial Art/Commercial art ) whirl madly about in the Klashka’s brain. Balancing Art and Industry can make anyone bitchy. Tabby Soleil will have to learn, like everyone else, to give Klashka a wide berth when her mind is stormy, but not without enduring a few battle scars, for it takes experience to learn exactly when and where lighting will strike.
